Ben Parrish

Ben  came to yoga walking Vishad Yogh.  He was told by a doctor to start going to church, and the person who started going to practice at gyms and the local Y would be surprised at how church-like his practice has become.  Ben’s practice of mostly physical exercise mainly in the Sivananda asana sequence began to evolve as he decided to move towards yoga as a profession, when he came into contact with Bhakti Yoga through the Heart of Yoga school and association with Krishna devotees.  Ben mainly sequences the Krishnamacharya arc moving from standing poses culminating in shoulder stand, but every now and again offers a Sivananda inspired sequence with elements of vinyasa.
